Check what each quote includes
- Packing materials and labour.
- Dismantling and reassembling furniture.
- Insurance or cover for damage.
- Parking, lift or stair charges.
- Extra charges if the job takes longer.
Ask for a visit or a video survey
For a larger move, ask the company to see the items, in person or by video, before it quotes.
Confirm in writing
Keep the final quote, the date and the included services in a message so everyone refers to the same terms.
